This workshop covers the importance of understanding mental health in couples and includes recognising the warning signs of mental health deterioration, understanding how attachment styles and stress response system impacts mental health, and opportunities to practice strategies that can be used to support couple’s mental well-being as well as for individuals who are struggling with mental health conditions.
The workshop is conducted by Dr Charissa Ng, a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society. She holds a Doctorate in Psychology (Clinical) from James Cook University, and has had over 10 years of experience working with multiple individuals presenting with clinical conditions. She presently specialises in trauma work.
