Synopsis

• Falling in love is such a wonderful feeling.

• Many couples wish that this wonderful feeling lasts into marriage and that it will be “Happily Ever After” just like in fairy tales.

• However, the feelings tend to fizzle away and they wonder “what happened”?

• This talk (comprising speaker’s inputs, videos, individual exercises & couple discussions) explores if it is possible to attain “Happily Ever After” in marriage.

• We present some reasons “Why Couples Fight”, share some tips on “How to Fight (Fair)” and some pointers on how to achieve “Happily Ever After” in marriage.

 

About the presenter – Benedict Lam

• Benedict is a Marital and Family Therapist with Family Life Society.

• He is trained in Emotion Focused Couple Therapy and pre-marital programmes such as PREP and Prepare/Enrich.

• He holds a Master of Social Science (Professional Counselling) from Swinburne University of Technology.
